COAL CHAMBER Bassist: 'No New Record Or Drummer As Of Yet'

Contrary to COAL CHAMBER singer Dez Fafara's previous claim that the group have secured the services of a new drummer, the band have yet to find a replacement for Mike Cox, according to bassist Nadja Peulen.

In a posting to her official message board, Peulen wrote, "No one in [COAL CHAMBER] is working on the next [studio] album. There will be a b-side record coming out soon, but that's all. So no new record or drummer as of yet."

As previously reported, COAL CHAMBER's upcoming B-sides/rarities album, "Giving The Devil His Due", is slated for release on June 17 through Roadrunner Records. Fafara's side project, DEATHRIDE, are currently recording their debut album, tentatively titled "Thirteen", at a Los Angeles studio with producer Ross Hogarth (COAL CHAMBER, MÖTLEY CRÜE, FASTER PUSSYCAT). It is due in July through Roadrunner.
